What do you mean by “fund”? And how will the schools benefit?

Bright Promise Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All gifts to the fund are tax-deductible. Gifts to Bright Promise Fund will be distributed annually to network schools in shares based on the funding formula recommended by the Board of Directors each fiscal year.

Funds distributed annually to network schools are restricted for scholarships and tuition assistance as determined by the Bright Promise Fund Board of Directors in June 2015.  Schools are given the freedom to manage their own tuition assistance programs.

Gifts to Bright Promise Fund through planned giving (estates and bequests) will sustain a foundation endowment, with the interest earned on the accumulated principle also building Bright Promise Fund.
